"A rich palette of materials consisting of Vande Moortel clay paving, Bingley Sandstone from Yorkshire, traditional weathered London Stock bricks and Bronzino bronze cauldrons brought a sophisticated and elegant feel to this private garden in Ravenscourt Park, London W12.
The selection of these materials by Butter Wakefield Garden Design required careful consideration of scale, colour and texture and her decision to use Vande Moortel's Ancienne Belgique Copper Brown complemented each of the other materials and featured strongly in Butter's design.
The hard landscaping and planting carried out by Robert Straver Ltd shows the mix of colours within the Copper Brown and the consummation with the old London Stocks and bronze planters, whilst providing a strong contrast with the Yorkstone."
